Top Thrill 2 Pit Stop | Episode 12 (Final): The Finish Line

It's finally done.

I’m sure a lot of people will be happy that the beloved white wall will have Top Thrill 2 painted on it instead of being plain white ;)

All things aside, there is a bit of overkill with the Top Thrill 2 and TT2 signage within the ride area. I am excited for this ride’s opening and getting to ride it nonetheless.

My OCD is going to be more concentrated on the the tree having 5 lights, while the top hat only has 4 lights, but glad they were able to make this work!

Enjoy the rest of your day at America's Rockin' Roller Coast! Ride On!

Park gets criticized on this site routinely for lack of theming. They add some to a new ride and its too much. Giant shoulder shrug I guess.

If I had Tony's job, I would be messing with people on this site on the regular. Spray paint markings every time they cut the grass or plant flowers. I would have specifically wanted an episode of the pit stop to show the wall without the graphics. Just to wait for the heads to explode. Could make up in some way for all the crap you have to deal with on a daily basis. But ultimately, he doesn't have time for that and it wouldn't be worth it.

Not sure if you think your comment was trying to prove something, but for starters, I personally don't care about theming at an amusement park that boasts being the roller coaster capital of the world. Secondly, there’s a difference between theming and repeating said theme multiple times within the area. My opinion still stands that the signage mentioning Top Thrill 2 or TT2 is a bit of overkill. It doesn’t negatively impact my life in any way though, nor will it negatively impact the ride experience for me.

I wish they kept the sound effects pre launch and wish the Christmas tree had the green light. Looks like a fun ride!

Wonder if “Ready to Go” will still be playing in the station???

I was just making an observation based on reading/posting on this site for a number of years. Though your response did prove something. Its funny how that works out.

As a package aficionado, I'm glad Tony popped for the Graphics Package. Also, great to see the Lighting Package, and Entry Portal Package.

It must have been tough to decide between those and the Locker Package. Budget can only go so far ;)

Today at least the queue was playing a playlist that featured multiple remixes of ready to go, mixed in with various “racing” themed background music. Also there’s a ready to go “Easter egg” right before the launch. The station itself didn’t have music playing, but that could be due to the film crew for media day.

Man that blue looks so sleek, I wish it was elsewhere than just the trains and station supports.

Hmm, I wonder what my response “proved”. My initial post simply said it was overkill. You’re trying too hard to make it more than what it is.

Having gone on it there really isn’t a need for the wall to be see through. Once on the platform you really don’t have time to look at the train already in motion. So while I thought it would have been better as clear I’m fine with the white wall and logo.
