Best time to hit Planet Snoopy? Water raft?

With three kids, our main focus will be Planet Snoopy and Camp Snoopy. Since Planet Snoopy is closer to the entrance, is it crowded right off and does it tend to get less congested later in the day? Would it be better to head back and do Camp Snoopy first then return later to Planet Snoopy? Or hit Planet Snoopy ASAP?

I'm a compulsive WDW planner where we hit the park first thing at opening to avoid crowds and lines. : P

What about the water raft ride (not sure of name)? Is there a time of day that you may not have to wait as long? We just got back from Kings Island a few weeks ago - we did the water raft there in the evening and there were no lines so they let the kids go around 4 times without getting off.

I think that you don't really have to worry about eathier of them being that crowded. Last time we were at CP it was about an hour wait for all of the coasters. But for the water rides and Camp Snoopy, it was much less. Maybe 20 minute tops.

Thunder Canyon is the raft ride. From my observation, the line doesn't get long until 1 or 2 o'clock. I've seen it go from a near walk on to a half hour wait within minutes in the early afternoon. If it's hot that day the line will be longer earlier.
