Geauga Lake auction

I just heard on the radio that The Big Dipper was sold for the low, low price of $5,000. Anybody else hear this?

Re: Geauga Lake auction

Yeah, WKYC out of cleveland had it on the news last night. They also said that Double Loop and Villan were sold for scrap. If you go to their web site it should have more info on the auction.

Re: Geauga Lake auction

Why on Earth would someone Google a question and find the answer immediately when he/she can come here, create a post, and wait for someone else to find the answer?

Re: Geauga Lake auction

Does anybody know, what became of the geauga lake hotel( also known

as the inn at six flags)? Did another hotel chain buy the hotel? The

geauga lake website list the bertram inn as the official hotel of wildwater

kingdom.

It's still up for sale in the land parcels that they separated out.

Re: Geauga Lake auction

Very sad. Isn't it amazing how nature starts to take over with just a few months of neglect?

Holy cow. I didn't realize how sad those pictures were really going to be.

Man, I'm going to miss having a half day's worth of fun so close to me.
