My No re-Hire
Hey guys, hows it going.
My name is Dave. I worked in Area 3 foods for four seasons. The last two of them as a supervisor. Anyway, lets get to the point
My last season, I got sent a text on my day off (was at Geauga Lake at the time) that was somewhat putting the park down. I took it as a joke, like many would have, forwarding it to a few others. The next day back to work, my manager, and friend, was forced to fire me. This happened back in 2005
This season, I am trying to return back to the park to work for Kodak. Even though Kodak is a lease of the park, I cannot get hired in, unless my no re-hire is lifted. I was told my the foods office that I need to write Mike Mason a letter of what happened, two letters of recommendation, and some other infomation. I sent that out two weeks ago, and still nothing. I know it's a rough time at the park right now, seeing how opening day is tomorrow, but I'm just getting anxious.
Any tips from other experiences? It's not like I got fired for drug use, or stealing, is what one person has already told me. I'm open to comments, and suggestions... have at it!
