Can someone please put together a list of the coasters Geauga Lake has/had including old and new names/types and destination parks. I was there back when it was still a Six Flags park and only remember the type of rides they were, not all of the old names.

I am trying to keep my Track Record updated.

For instance , I know the flying coaster Xflight was Xflight before and after the Cedar Fair acquisition and was renamed Firehawk when it was moved to King's Island last year.

Thanks for your help.

Ray

RCDB.com should answer most if not all of your questions.

Didn't think I had to hold his hand on the way.

CoasterCounter.com is also another place to keep up with your track record.

Here are the Six Flags era coasters and their destinations:

X-Flight: moved to Kings Island in 2007, name changed to Firehawk

Steel Venom (nee Superman): moving to Dorney Park for 2008, name changed to Voodoo

Dominator (nee Batman): moving to Kings Dominion for 2008, keeping name

Thunderhawk (nee Serial Thriller): moving to Michigan Adventure for 2008, keeping name

Beaverland Mine Ride (nee Roadrunner Express): was rumored to move to Cedar Point, now doubtful

Villain: to be auctioned

Big Dipper: fate uncertain, possibly to be auctioned

Raging Wolf Bobs: probably going to be scrapped

Double Loop: can't be easily moved, probably going to be scrapped

Head Spin (nee Mind Eraser): fate uncertain

Hope that helps.

They also had a kiddie coaster called Little Dipper until 1976. The zyclon coaster went into its spot. It was my first amusement park roller coaster and I believe the first ride I ever rode at Geauga Lake. I have been trying for many years to find any information or pictures of it
