That's what I have heard it called. I can not verify that it is the name for the new area.

Think someone may get in trouble for releasing that photo without permission? Oops.

^Yes, that's Peanut's Playground. It is being remodled for next season.

For the trouble they went to, to get a picture, you'd think they'd have gotten either more pictures, or at least a better one.

Agreed Jason.

PS - Nice Evil Corn picture. With the announcement of Steel Hawg, I will be following IB's off-season more than CP's for once.

I think that the Aquatic Stadium has stood its last days. Why would you upgrade something, while having a rotting thing next to it?

I still think they should put the Sky Slide back in there. It was one of my fav things at Cedar Point when I was a kid.

R.I.P. MrScott... You're greatly missed!!

While I do agree that it should be replaced before the playground, but I wouldn't say it's "rotting". It still looks good.

If they could just remodel/renovate it to be a large house of summer concerts, that'd be awesome.

I think the bigger mystery here is:

Who took that picture, why did that picture get posted, and what mindless off-season employee or construction worker would risk their job for that?

^^Large house for concerts???

The Aquatic Stadium isn't all that large.

We don't even know when that picture was taken. It could have been from a seasonal from this year when they processed out. From what I've heard, they started demolition right after the park closed for the season. Since people were still processing out after that, it would have been easily accessible.

Still, that's not a "legal" picture to be giving out. Then again, if that seasonal isn't returning to the Point again, what do they care?

It's not really like the picture shows us anything we didn't already know. The area is "all new" (well, except for the used rides), so that usually means they're going to demo everything existing. *** Edited 11/29/2007 4:00:36 AM UTC by halltd***

Look at the "site" in question. They lost any respect they had last year.

Yeah, I think the boarded up look is sweet. Maybe they can make a theme out of it.
