^ I rode 6 or 7 times so far and it varies a ton. My first ride was in the back and I got suprisingly wet (just enough to cool you down, you're definately not getting soaked), my next ride was in row 2 and again, I got pretty wet. One of my times in the front seat I got quite a bit of water, but an hour later (again, in the front) I could hardly feel it.
I'd say it depends an awful lot on wind, not where you sit. The water is falling at a steady rate from above the track so each seat has the chance of getting wet.
Conclusively, you won't really know how you're going to get until you're stengal-diving under the lift
