I noticed that the new rack brochure is out, but when do they usually come out with the getaway guide. I signed up to get one for me and my gf but i was just wondering. thanks in advance.

Usually in April or May. Anyone confirm that for me?

I think it says in their getaway guides that you can start ordering them in April and they should be on their way then.

And for those of us that don't already know this, you can also pick one up at the park operations office just outside the main entrance gate.

i was always told i could not pick one up if i forgot mine. when did they start doing that?

I've been doing that for more than a few years now. It's usually because I needed a coupon from the back of the Getaway Guide or just wanted an extra personal copy.

They will ask you to fill out your name and address to put you on their mailing list for future mailings.

I think you mean the Guest Services office outside of the Main Gate?

Park Operations office is inside the park off the main midway.

You cannot pick them up at Guest Services... You have to call the number and request one before you get there. They actually dont keep any of them in the Guest Services office...

ok so if someone called in advance, where would you pick it up at?

I know you can request them online and get them in the mail but I never heard of them being given out at the park.

Just walk into Guest Services and ask for one, they have them.

We picked one up there last year without calling ahead.

They do NOT keep them in Guest Services anymore... they changed it half way through the season last year. I know... I worked there... If you call to get one early enough they will mail it to you, otherwise they leave it in guest services for you...

I got a CP flyer in the mail today, not the Getaway guide but the "Platinum Times" or something like that. Gave info on all the Platinum benefits at CP this year.

Wonder when that Guide is coming...

There is a coupon for $30 off per night at Breakers valid between May 9-22. One for $20 off per night at Breakers May 26-June 5. Also one for Breakers Express $10 off per night.

I got mine today. Its nice to come home after taking Ohio Achievement Tests and seeing a Cedar Point GAG on my bed.
