Best place depends on you situation.
-On point dorms are good for people that don't have a car since it's conveient and don't need A/C, fans work and you could get a dehumidifier or A/C. Commons dorms are A/Ced and heated. Commons apartments are full of people. Bayside are the nicest but the hardest to get into.
-Prices: Commons dorms up to $32.20, Apartments $24, onpoint dorms $16.80.
Apartments have more people so there is more noise, drama, roomates freinds, partys, and life in general in them.
As for spending the night, it doesn't really matter. The exception is non employees have to be out of there at a set time, I think it's Midnight.
